So it's finally here.
Dunno wat I'm talking about?
It's da... "If I miss da first - or second - episode I not going know wat da heck is going on in da show latahz" season.
Yup. The new fall season for most - if not all - da tv shows are coming up this week to the next and it's time to set your DVR, TiVo, VCR.... gulp.... Betamax. 
Of course Da Wife already has "programmed" our DVR fo' wat seems like da next two months and has filled da memory. Our shows (can you guess who's is who's?) goes:
- Dancing With The Stars
- Grey's Anatomy
- Lost (btw, check out The Advertiser's own Caryn Kunz's Lost In Hawaii blog for you fanatics during da season. Got some great "tidbits" about da show as it goes along!)

Geez, dat's a lot of shows yeah?! But it's spread out through da week so no look as bad, right? 
And I'm sure a couple more will pop up as new shows try to fight for your airtime viewing pleasure.
Wat are your favorite shows dat you "have" to watch? Have you gotten into a show late (not from da first season)? You even watch tv?

I actually try not to get hooked onto a show so I don't have a gotta watch show. No mo time with all the stuff going on, kids, work, etc.
Used to watch Idol, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, er, Two and half men. I could feel my brain dumbing down.

I going RUSH HOME "AN DEN" watch CSI MIAMI. Horatio got shot and is laying on the tarmac. He's been bleeding ever since for the last 3 months or so. I hope he'll survive. PLUS, got dis uddah guy on the CSI team.....he must be a double agent as he got a text message on last season's finale that "It's Done" in reference to Horatio getting shot and lying on the tarmac for the last 3 months or so. I'm SO EXCITED.........can't you tell?

it's all about CSI and Law & Order for me...tho i can deal with reruns for Law & Order. a little harder with CSI because i think i've seen them all so for da first half it's all good i thinking i never saw 'um before AN'DEN when come to solving the case(s) i realize i already know who dunnit
but i'm with OL on dis one--i hope Horatio never bleed out in the last 3 months cruisin on da tarmac!

In recent years there are no tv series shows I gotta watch. It's mostly some UH sports, some news, some OC16 local shows like "local bruddahs", "eh, you da kine" or whatever that might be on that interest me...I do watch a lot of dvd movies. Wife, on the other hand, has choke number of tv shows, especially K-drama, that she must watch. DVR has been heaven sent for her.

ova at our house, gotta watch Bones, House, CSI(las vegas one)and Criminal Minds. last week on Criminal Minds( not sure if was new one, or wen miss "last" episode) but had one main character wen get blown up in da suv. and was dakine " who wen die?" my wife wen go all nutz. we wen start playing back that part (we wen vcr tape-um) like we was reviewing football plays. ova and ova like 10 times. an den she wen give up. so dis one important week in our house, wat can I say.

I like all the CSI's but not really following the Vegas one since they all leaving. Dunno about NCIS. I like to old gang. I'm waiting for Chuck. Hope he scores this season. In our family, we fight for the DVR. For some reason. my programs disappear. WWD????? grrrr. Gotta go buy my own and program it for all my stuff and my stuff only. YOU HEAR DAT WIFE???ALL MINE MINE!!! BWAHAHAHAHA

I hate when get a pretty good show, and that buggah get canceled mid-season. Last year, I was into Studio 60, Kidnapped, and The Black Donnellys. All canceled. Some poho I feel after that.

Da hubby and I watch Dancing w/the Stars, NCIS and Bones together. I like Criminal Minds, CSI NY and CSI. He likes to watch football (of course) and Formula One racing. Yes, he does record some of these if we are not home. It's about time the new season comes along. After the strike last season and the time we did not have new shows for weeks, it'll be nice if this season is uninterrupted. Gotta love the DVR too!

Likw BF, Heroes is at the top of my list. I gotta throw in Biggest Loser too. Oh and the new season of Bizzarre Foods starts this week too. Speaking of bizzarre foods, just tried some billy goat meat and skin cooked in it's bile at one 1st birthday party. Kinda tastes like the smell of the elephant containers at the Zoo. Interesting.

Me and the family watch Dancing with the Stars. And we watch American Idol when that's on. Other than that, we don't have a favorite show. I usually work late, so I can't guarantee watching a show every week. Instead, I usually channel surf. On any given night, we could be watching everything from a HBO movie to Soko Ga Shiritai.
At 9:00, me and the wife usually watch re-runs of Two and a Half Men and Everybody Loves Raymond after that.

Yeah, fo' got about Heroes although from da previews looks kinda "fake" already - getting outta hand. Da Wife likes Fringe too but I no watch cause same time as my bowling league night and yeah we hate wen da show cancel mid-season. We were watching Men In Trees and TWICE was cut off and on... WWD!

speaking of new shows...has anyone seen the game show, holes? FUNNY stuff...i was crackin' up when i watched it. i think it's on FOX! maybe not worth DVR'n, but if you don't have anything else to watch on thursday (i think???) you should check it out!

Aigoo... I don't watch much TV. The only things I catch are the news and more news. I watch my Korean dramas on mysoju.com when I have time. I haven't even finished one episode since school started. What a shame!

Okay...me and my girls love Ugly Betty, Brothers and Sisters, Greys Anatomy....my younger one will also sit and watch Desperate Housewives. I use to like that show that was a spin off of Greys Anatomy can't remember the name. Hubby is thankful that football season started...an den more excited that his Dallas Cowboys are doing so AWESOME!!...eh no make...I get DALLAS cowboy Christmas tree and all....
I miss my Korean Soaps tho....I really got into them...love all the respect lessons that the parents continually tried to instill into their keiki's, an den how they mana pai the kids right there on the show....whew we need them small kine mana pai sometimes..you know what I mean...

I'm a total TV addict so I got a lot of shows that I gotta watch. If I can't make it, I usually try to watch online before the next week's episode so I can be caught up.
Here's my list:
Grey's Anatomy
Private Practice - I'm giving them one more season to make me love the show, but I think that Addison should just go back to Seattle Grace.
Prison Break - My friends got me into watching the DVDs of past seasons and now I'm hooked
Heroes
Fringe - I watched the first episode and it's not bad. Hopefully the don't cancel this one
NCIS

Last season I was getting into that vampire show Moonlight and they canceled 'em on me!

hey BL...i think if they did have 3 sole's on one team it'd be the same as what happened to those 3 female body builders...lol!! that one lady kept breakin' the "wall"!! i wonder tho, if she did break the wall, but stayed outta the water would that still have counted?? lol!! maybe cuz the teams are on tv, in front of an audience, or playin' for money that they cannot concentrate...but most of the time they didn't use their common sense to get thru the hole...lol!!

Kinda lost interest in many of the programs...used to watch Grey's Anatomy, but got tired. Can't stand the "reality" shows. The last series that I made it a point to watch was '24.' Family likes K-dramas and American Idol. For me, it's mostly news and ESPN. Also, always check PBS...got some good programs like NOVA, local programs and music specials.

We traced the day of conception to the exact day, June 6th. I was in Maui for work that day, so for a second I was like HUH?! Did the UPS guy come that day? Milk man? No, it was just very early bumping and grinding:) Thank God she doesn't read this blog!
Hopefully my mom can steal plenty of film from Sam's Photo Dept. She was up for Employee of the Month, but they decided she crosses her arms too much:)

That Ultimate Fighter from Maui, Kendell Grove is opening up a gym on Maui with Big Island boy, Troy "Rude Boy" Mandaloniz. Both were on different Ultimate Fighter Shows. I know Troy's mom very well and she supports her son, BUT won't watch him fight. Can't blame her for not wanting to see her BABY fighting and/or getting hurt.
Now as for those new TV shows, I willing to watch anything as long as we can sit with NKHEA and drink beea and eat pupu. No matter what stay on TV. An'den we find new reason for Pahty. Chee Hooo!!!

Hey BL, you Scott's baby boy's Uncle and Zee baby girl's Aunty. How proud is that?
When my niece gave birth 2 weeks ago, I asked, "Am I one Uncle or Aunty" They tell me Aunty! YEAH, new babies in da house. My younger sister Grandma now. I can tease yeah cause I 2 years older than her and was grandpa at 50 too.

I don't watch mainstream TV because I'm a fool for anime...There is one show I try to watch every season though, Miami Ink. I know tattoos are seen as nasty by most people but to me it could be so much deeper than that, given that you are getting tattooed for the right reasons.

In the back of my mind I just KNEW he had to be alive. At the beginning of the show when they showed his picture and name during the pre-show credits, my wife said "See! He's still on the show!"

WHAT HAPPENED??? I couldn't watch TV last night. Wife was watching Heros. Son watching, who knows what. I hope my DVR was set. DANG, maybe it wasn't since I took it off during reruns. Guess I gotta go watch online. Horatio had to be alive. Da bugga was twitching at the end of last season. And I agree with Missus OL, still get his name. Now go get dat Pilau guy dat wen shoot em. He no learn.

Just like Delko's shooting....and he's back.
In NCSI season two, last episode, they killed off Kate....that was a disappointment. I liked her then and even when she was on Dawson's Creek.
I wish they would bring Speed back...it was nice to see him again for just an episode last season. I'm waiting for Sara to return on CSI: Vegas !!!

Definitely Dancing wit Da Stars. I heard Phyllis Diller (she stay 82 years old anden) going be one of dem. I wen catch her on some program while at da gym... da wahine is a crack up! Outa control her! I can only imagine how she going be on da dance floor!

Bones is one of my favorites -- I like the way she takes things literally and responds to people...it's funny. And Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, House, Heros are on the DVR list

@syxx - Miami Ink, LA Ink - too many tattoos for my tastes. But the artwork is just amazing. I didn't know they could draw such realistic art on skin.
@ynaku - "Princess Bride da Musical." Let's all go see it with Shauna. Sounds like fun.
That hole in the wall game show sounds like the one based on the Japanese show called "Human Tetris." There's lots of videos on YouTube. Funny stuff... especially when the hole has a pointed corner sticking up around the crotch area.

And I just hate reality programs. The contest shows are ok. But all the people with big egos want to be the center of attention. Enough already!
