We Did It Again.... VLOG Now Up!

If you haven't noticed by now, I've been trying to give away tickets to the 2009 First Hawaiian Bank International Auto Show but there were no takers. 
You don't have to be in the position to buy a new car - we know most of us can't at the moment - but if you're a car or truck enthusiast it's the perfect venue..... plus it's FREE!
Since no one wants 'em, I thought I'd bring a little bit of da car show to you!
* But if you're still interested in the tickets, let me know! *
So hea's a few of da cars - some with price tags - 
- and while I don't know most of the cars names.... I'll let you guess wat they are called... like a game.

SHOUT OUT: Just want to send out a HUGEMANGEOUS Mahalos to 2B for helping WWD! with da "backstage" passes! It was great to "run amock" at da car show!
And anoddah HUGEMANGEOUS Mahalos to Greg Yamamoto (Honolulu Advertiser's photog/videographer) for running da video shoot..... yeah, da newsroom requested a WWD! VLOG again since people was asking for anoddah one.
And since he's always "behind da camera", hea's a shot of him...... still behind da camera.

The white Audi R8 Coupe is beautiful. In my younger days, I would probably be drooling over it but now its too close to the ground for my knees. That's why I now stick to SUVs and trucks because its easier to step up than down.
Was this like a sneak preview or what ? The place is kind of empty.

Good stuff BL! Even better than last year.
You took my advise and started in the Mini. I think you grew casue the trucks didn't seem as humangus when you stood next to them. I like the man step and little man gas peddle on the F-150.
Maybe next year you can get the motorized Razor.

my husband likes cars..one time I ask him what is the happiest day of his life he said buying his first sports car...then I said how about having our first born son....SO now he doesn't even remember he said that to me that he loves his sport car which he had to get rid he cannot afford to pay for it..lol... so I ask him again what is the happiest day of you life this time he said his wedding day..WHAT AGAIN not his first born son>>>OMG!

Brah, get the F-150. I get one and you can put one 6-pack bee....soda in all the cup holdas. Mine no more the Asian package though. Me big Filipino but my wife smaller (get short legs) so every time I get home from here, I know she using MY truck cause I hit my knees on the steering wheel. She put the chair all the way in front and the steering wheel all da way down. Das why I no like drive her car. Her car so low to the ground I gotta crawl in and out. WWD!!!!!!!!!!!

I've always liked the F-150 but the reliability factor and price always swayed me oddahwise but the redesign and "features" may get me to sell my Tacoma and buy the F-150.... if I can try and save up.

My son has the F-150 Lariat, extended cab. It's a nice truck...sometimes you don't even know you're going 60mph in a 45 !!! The a/c is not very strong...well known grumbling among owners. No Asian package....just the BOOM BOOM BOOM package and VROOOOOOM VROOOOOM VROOOOM exhaust package.

Yup, I knew that. Do you know why that came about? Actually came from their F1 racing experience...driver went stall the car and lost a race, so they revamped their transmission, so can do clutchless shifting.
That's surprising that they had no problem with you sitting in the Lamborghini, but wouldn't even let you breathe on the Ferrari.

The thing is BL, you don't have to be smart to drive the Smart Car. You have to be brave. That's one ugly car and looks like a cross between a Pacer and a golf cart. I've seen her drive that thing and the sucker can go pretty fast (dunno about freeway but she can tear around on surface streets) but the big SUV drivers cannot see her.
Speaking of golf carts, a friend of mine has one and she uses it to drive around her neighborhood to visit friends and family. Drive one of those on the streets is scary...she speeds and takes sharp turns. Gotta wear the seat belt of you fly out of that thing.
I NEED a new car but the husband said NO!!!

BL.................HOW MUCH was that orange "Lambo"? I pass by it every time I go walking as its in the AUDI dealership on Beretania RIGHT NEXT to the GOODWILL store.
I take it the black Ferrarri is also over there as I didn't see it when I walked by the dealership this afternoon. THAT ONE........the price was $278,000!!!!!
I still can't get over the irony of those types of cars and price tags NEXT to the GOODWILL STORE.
