Can You Feel It?

December 23rd, 2011

With Christmas just a couple days away... can you feel it?

For me it's been (is) such a whirlwind at work that I barely even have time to breathe and besides seeing the Christmas tree in the living room, I wouldn't even have an inkling that it's Christmas. Besides the traffic near the malls and major stores, everything seems to be "normal" although I do enjoy the lighter than usual traffic.

How has it been for you? Has it been an enjoyable holiday season so far? Are you done with your Christmas shopping? Have you snagged some good deals?

I apologize for not being "active" on WWD! but I'm barely catching my breath every which way. From the last blog, I have M and hemajang reserving a batch of kim chee? There were a few others but it was kinda vague if you wanted or not.

And I have not forgotten the two other Kwonics that I still owe t-shirts to.

Hea's a few pics sent in by a long-time mainland Kwonic which are some pretty cool trees....... and how come only da WWD! Hui from da mainland stay share....

Just came back from 2 weeks in Vegas, it was great to get away for the cold weather in sin city. But it's good to be home just in time for Christmas. No stress because all the shopping was done before we left and did some in Vegas. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone !

  3. GA Bows:

Got all of the gifts wrapped last night, a 2 hour event!

It doesn't really feel like Christmas here in GA, the temp has been in the upper 60's - low 70's this week. Ah well, the spirit is there.

Christmas night will be cooking dinner for a friend of ours and have a couple people from work come over. Those that don't have family or have recently gone through a divorce is having a hard time spending the holiday alone so wife and I invited them over for dinner.

I'll need another "holiday" to recover from this one.

Merry Christmas BL and WWD'ers. Finally got da present for da wife yesterday. Went to her favorite shop and showed her some of wife's clothing items for size and style. And we settled on this top that I think she will like? or maybe not. I asked the lady if she knew my wife but she wasn't sure. After ringing it up and gift wrapping, I thought of showing her my wife's photo from my phone...and she recognized her as a regular customer. She said maybe we could have selected something else after realizing who she was but hey, can always go back to exchange, after all the busiest shopping time is after Christmas when everybody is exchanging gifts cuz no fit or no like...WWD!

I know this post is late...but that falls in line with the rest of my Christmas season! This year was hands down the most stressful Christmas I've ever had. Between visiting family, late start to projects, not enough time in the day, blah, blah, blah...it just started to feel overwhelming. I was bummed because I really wanted to just enjoy...the lights, the movies, the decorations, the FEELING! I plan on making better plans next year and/or scaling down some!! But I survived and the day itself turned out nearly perfect!! =)
