All Pau

Did Santa bring you what you wanted or were you a bad little boy or girl?

I'm tinking da latter eh?

Isn't it weird how just one day later and all da weight on your shoulders has been lifted and it's immediately a different feeling? Ok, maybe all dat weight went to your opu and now it really is a different feeling but Christmas is officially pau.

At least all da mad rush for a product is pau and no mo' peppah spray, trampling ovah people or line cutting.

Wat oddah maddness have you heard about? Witnessed? Part of?

Has your office snack pool spontaneously grown today? I've noticed a ton of cookies and "second-hand goodies" since no one wants to keep more than they can handle at home.

And how's dat holiday traffic? Shhhweeeet yeah?

As we gear down and catch our breath, it only revs back up at da end of da week with New Years just around da corner so we're not out of da woods just yet. But with Christmas pau, it really is a sigh of relief.

Now all we have to worry about da credit card bill.

And a word of advice fellahs. Wen you stay shopping wit your wife, girlfriend, significant oddah, life partner, watevahs during da holiday season.... watch wat you say if you're a hard person to shop for. I just said "oh, das pretty cool" and actually got it even though it was jus' da "cool factor" and not something dat was on da wish list.

Wassup Wit Dat!

It really is cool and even though I'm 20 (plus tax), Da Wife knows I love cool and neat-o toys. After giving it a whirl tonight, it was fun but was a little hard to control since it's not a "high-end" RC. I guess I bettah watch wat I say next time huh?

Babe, in case you're reading dis, a new Tacoma or Tundra is WAAAAY COOOOL!

Hey BL, also be careful what you say when visiting friends. Know one friend who got a gift just because he showed a little interest in it. He tried to refuse but the guy insisted.

  2. hemajang:

BL, dat one cool gift. Maybe can use like one drone to drop fiyahcrackahs New Year's eve. Waiau Park would be a good place to fly em.

For people that know me, I easy to shop fo...wine. And not fussy and will try anything. Daughter got me a malbec from Argentina only because we were talk wine and beer often enough and must have mentioned to her how great they were. Seattle son sent couple whites (cardonnay, viognier) and reds (pinot noir, cab) from a Benson Vineyards in Lake Chelan, Washington...looking forward to try em. And got a Washington reisling with interesting label called Kungfu Girl from boss lady who I talk wine with.

My mom (89) and pop (88) are hard to shop for...so it was a plant and blanket for mom and I screen printed our family mon on a t-shirt for pop.

  3. GA Bows:

    That's a nice chopter... lol@Tacoma or Tundra.

Da kids were well taken care of this year. Da wife got what she wanted, no big ticket items just a bunch of stuff we can use everyday. She got me a several shirts from Crazy Shirts.

Now it's time to get ready for New Year's eve... gotta make sure get the fireworks and go food shopping.

My son got that helicopter!! How funny! It is pretty fun, yes, kinda hard to control.

I was just relieved when Christmas was over this year. First one since my dad passed away last Jan so it was a tough one.

My husband is hard to shop for as well. Why you guys gotta make it so hard? What you want, we can't afford ( new truck etc!) what we can afford you go buy yourselves....

We didn't do a lot of Christmas this year, going to Hawaii was our present. Best present for sure! :>)

BL, your new Tacoma or Tundra, make sure you ax for a 8-banger that defies gravity. None of this 4-cylinder, smooth-driving, with no red-line types that lacks balz. You da man for driving a pick-up. Me? Would never even try it. Gives the other half another option where to stick me when I'm in the doghouse -- the open flatbed. LOL

  6. M:

    Howzit BL,

I'm glad Christmas is ova, now gotta gear up fo da new ye ah, now no moa firecracka, going be junk.

LMAO! Yeah, I no understand why get one truck dat "waste" mo' energy wit a 4-cylinder pulling all da weight. At da minimum a 6 but if you hauling choke stuff, gotta get an 8. Plus da 6/8 cylinders now-a-days get just as much gas efficiency as a 4.

You da man for driving a pick-up. Me? Would never even try it. Gives the other half another option where to stick me when I'm in the doghouse -- the open flatbed. LOLLOL Das why you gotta get a BedRug. I put one in back in 2003 wen I picked up my '02 Tacoma and LOVE IT! It's "cushiony" and comfortable to sit or lie on. Your half seems mean.... at least Da Wife would send me to da garage.

  9. islandgirlinnc:

Yeah, I learned my lesson years ago not to tell people what I like or else you get inundated with items. For example, I love Winnie The Pooh. Now, do I want Pooh everywhere? Nope. Can't I just love the fellow without Pooh picture frames, Pooh coffee cups, Pooh stuffed animals, Pooh calendar, Pooh dis and Pooh dat? So nowadays I never say I love something because it seems to give people the leeway to buy everything of that item. :D Hope you have a wonderful 2012 BL!

  10. JuSaMee:

Just as a follow up to my last post...I know I was definitely breathing A LOT easier after 12/25 ticked over to 12/26! LoL!! And I didn't even bother with after Christmas sales (not like my bank account would let me!), but I veg'd out the ENTIRE day and it was heavenly!! This year I had the HARDEST time buying for the hubs and he actually ended up being the awesome Santa for me! I got new cupcake tins, cupcake carriers, a 2nd (AND MUCH NEEDED) bowl for my KitchenAid...it wasn't the fancy or shiny jewelry kind of Christmas, but it was exactly what I wanted!! Now time to clean up!! I LOVE my tree...but am one of those ppl who can take it down, Christmas night and start prepping for the new year!! =)

  11. GA Bows:

BL~ they don't sell rockets and anything that flies above 6 ft. here in GA, so me and a friend will be driving up to TN to get some.

On the menu is going be a mix plate of stuff that has been requested of me... kalbi, egg-rolls and portguese bean soup plus da drinks!

  12. snow:

i'm still recuperating. but, i guess you were right... i was bad... i didn't get much this year. :(

christmas is usually so crazy that hubby and i usually just buy each other what we want... and we'll usually buy it after christmas. sometimes the gift is for both of us, like when we got our newest camera. maybe i'm too practical but i just can't see either of us wasting our time or money buying something the other doesn't really like/want. which reminds me, i need to start looking for my gift - another camera, but a smaller one - pretty soon! ;)

  13. rayboyjr:

    Good Afternoon Everyone!!!

... hey Braddah Lance ... the RC helicopter looks cool enough sitting on the table top ... nice as a display piece even if you don't fly her much ... and I'd think you'd have trouble finding big open areas to fly around ... but I'm sure there's places for RC enthusiasts ... can't fly her too much in this wind though ...

... I don't have big Christmas wishes so I'm never disappointed ... I'm easily pleased with just about anything ...

... and I agree totally that once Christmas day passes ... it seems like we're in another world ... aside from relief from the frantic holiday rush ... you can just sense that it's different ... but I just hope the cheerfulness and goodwill remain throughout the year ...

... Happy New Year Everyone!!! ...

And I didn't even bother with after Christmas sales (not like my bank account would let me!), but I veg'd out the ENTIRE day and it was heavenly!!

Us too! Well, we really wanted to go "the day aftah" but nevah like deal wit da crowds and plus, kinda hard with no moo-lah. Instead we spent da whole day cleaning house, putting up several curtain rods and curtains, washing EVERY SINGLE window and screen, washing clothes and cleaning da garage. Merry post-Christmas.

I got new cupcake tins, cupcake carriers, a 2nd (AND MUCH NEEDED) bowl for my KitchenAid

Glad you got wat you wanted/needed.

Well ours was dead and da needles were falling off just walking by it so it's down and in our front yard now.

  16. Kage:

    Good Morning.

The tiny helicopter was on my wish list. I going have to buy it myself though.

Someone in my complex got the one you got. They keep playing with it outside my unit every day since Christmas. buuuuuzzzzzz. Good thing it is not a loud noise. More like,"da mosquitoes are swarming???"

  17. sally:

I must say this was the best Christmas I've had in about ten yrs. Circumstances have greatly improved in that I've moved to a bigger apt (with a REAL kitchen!) and really good rent. I was able to decorate my apt AND my workplace and I spent a lot of quality time with friends and family.

And yes, finances are super tight for me, but that did not prompt me to go heist the Toys 'r Us Store, steal a wreath, or steal from a small anime shop.

Aue, late to the party...anyway, belated Happy and Merry everything, everybody. :-D

BL, BEE glad you got the chopper. Maybe it wasn't necessarily what you wanted but hey, it could've been worse. You could've gotten a package of bbds, some dental floss, and a Webster's Dictionary.

As far as the truck, why not get a big American quad cab, Cummins Diesel powered truck? That should be able to haul a lot of diapers. :-D
