Just One Of Those Days

Have you ever "wasted" a day?

Today it feels like a BIG one!

Aftah waking up a bit late and having barely moved from the couch the past seven hours going on watching my third movie, I've been glancing through da windows and noticing how gorgeous of a day it's been.

But yet I'm still inside.... Wassup Wit Dat!

Well, between some house work and watching Da Baby, I guess my life has been regulated to house arrest.

Don't you just hate a "wasted" day? Well, I hope you're out and about enjoying the day I wasn't able to.........

You got to spend the whole day with your daughter. Not such a bad way to waste your day...

    Learned something today, BL.

Men and women are so different. Take the brain, for instance. In a brain scan among men and women, the activity level turned out significantly higher for women than men. No $hit, Sherlock. Nope. Even at rest levels, men's brain shut down to a level that borderlines death. That's why the guys can lie down and channel surf the TV for long periods of time. And when you ask them what they're doing, they'll reply, "nothing, honey" all the time. Women, on the other hand, are still lit up even when their brains are at rest. That's why a woman will, for no reason, will go through her mental checklist while trying to fall asleep. A guy? He snoring his a$$ off.

What does this tell you, BL. Ah, Duhhh... I think you're a guy. LOL

Aw, no feel like dat. We live in Hawaii; you have a beautiful, healthy daughter, and a home. that's a lot to be thankful for!

yeah, know da feeling, especially if had mental list of stuff fo do but somehow got into a funk and end up on da sofa watching tv instead...wasted. Thankfully, it doesn't happen often. Sometimes I think those daze come after mental and/or physical stress period and body telling you to rest. I go running several times a week, usually after work. There are times when I feel lazy and tired and no like go out da door but kick myself in da butt and go anyway cause you know you going feel much better after the first mile or two. Nothing like getting into a rhythm and moving.

28th? That was Saturday. Had a 5k in Manoa in da morning, started at Saint Francis school to Manoa Park and back...was nice run. Son and friends were also running. He highly recommended this 5k for it's great after run snacks-ice cream even, and raffle prizes. However, everytime I do a run, get real hungry and pig-out rest of the day...Thai food and Tsingtao beer...winnahs.

... hey Braddah Lance ... k-den ... you talking about a Saturday??? ... unless you actually supposed to report to work on Saturday ... it's never a wasted day no matter what you do ... that's the beauty of it ... you choose what you do ...

... because what you just described as a wasted day ... makes up more than half my life, haha!!! ... yeah, I've wasted half my life away ... ok, maybe not half but a whole fricken lot of it ... and with the frantic pace of real life these days ... I'm glad I still have a choice to "waste" a day or two or ten ...

    ... Have a Good One Everyone!!! ...

I'm just chalking it up to getting makule.

Nothing like getting into a rhythm and moving.

I'm da same. Gotta do stuff for long periods of time to "feel good" instead of doing many things at shorter periods.
