Go get um Lance...and best of Luck to the rest of the WWD gang thats participating in the race too...I'm cheering you all along the way!!!! from way up here in cold...freezing my okole Utah!!...Post pictures!!...You can! You can!!...You can do it!!....Sure you can!!!!...so...Lets go WWD team...Lets go!!!
Feeling a bit fatigued. Hungry and eating like crazy. The run itself was okay, except for the hills around Pearl Harbor and head winds heading into Aloha Stadium. As usual it was very congested at the start and can be chaotic with runners sprinting off in da excitement, adrenaline pumping. I was alongside the military Sounds of Freedom for most of the run, maybe the best part for me. I like the call and response cadence...reminds me of when I was in basic and advance infantry training.
The traffic afta was a mess, probably took longer getting out of Aloha Stadium in my car then running from Aloha tower to the stadium. Plus leg started to cramp while in car...damn. However, GAR is an excellent charitable event and I'll do it again.
hope you had FUN!!! did this 3 or 4 times... but now my knees not so good... just have fun watching people come back to town, most with smiles, carrying their tshirts... Proud of all who participated... congrats to all!!!
You really mean you'll meet me at da finish line right?
