Painful Or Hilarious?

Earlier tonight aftah taking my dog out to use da bathroom, she ran across da street to my neighbors house cause they had shmall kine pah-tay. "Uncle" is always calling me ovah to drink and tonight wasn't any different.

So I thought.

Normally there's da "regulahs", his grandsons, sistahs, aunties, uncles and friends but tonight he had a couple oddah people I've nevah met before. Keep in mind dat he's about 90 years old and still pah-tays like it's 1999.

Tonight someone busted out an iPod player and anoddah Uncle had his iPod with ovah 4000+ "old" songs. He said he had a lot of 70's music but I told him it sounded like da 30's wea someone died or something.

No get me wrong, I LOVE da "oldies but goodies" kine music wit da feel good beats and rhythms (kinda sad dat I probably know more of those lyrics than today's kine) but not da kine "acid era" melancholy mood kine. You MLC'ers know wat I mean.

Aftah a few hours of partaking in refreshments, all da "old" people started jamming like they were at a sock hop and one particular Uncle stole da show. Now let me say dat I nevah get da best video cause by da time I ran back home to grab da phone, I was only able to record Uncle's second wind.

Buuuuuuuut you decide - Is da Japanee Hula painful or hilarious?

Wassup Wit Dat!

But we all had a great time laughing at and with.............. old people and all.

Oh man, Ojiisan in his own world. But eh, no complaints from me. Bettah to be groovin' to da music, than droolin' to da music. He could be one of those folks who is unlucky, and really, really permanently in their own world.

I remember as a young kid, I had "uncles" like this. Those were the days where serving alcohol at funerals was very common. Primo and Olympia beers were the suds of choice. Many of these uncles acted pupule when they were feeling good, but it was all in good fun, and none of them got violent and none of them crashed their cars. They could all handle their drinking. Interestingly, many of these uncles were WWII Warriors - members of the famed 100th and 442nd. I always said that they FOUGHT HARD, WORKED HARD, AND PLAYED HARD! GO FOR BROKE!!
