It's Been Waaaaay Too Long
By Braddah Lance
It's been a long time coming for da Niners and fans
No bandwagons, only da true faithful can
Appreciate a teams' struggle for da past 18 years
To reach da promised land filled with tears and cheers.
Da final stage is set, all da preps up to date
Players must perform, da rest is up to fate
As nervous as they must be, true fans are anxious to see
Can we do it? Are we worthy to be?
Commericals are always fun and at their prime
Laughing your okole off, a few million dollahs 30 seconds at a time
Gatherings galore and pah-tays going down
Please be safe cause I like see you around
Today is da day for all to watch
Da biggest game of da year, I'll pour you a scotch.
Or watevah you're drinking, I propose a toast
Go 49ers! Lombardi come back.... to da famed Gold Coast.

Wassup Wit Dat!

BL,
I thought about you yesterday. This game was definitely a tough one to swallow for the "Faithful." I just knew we were going to win it with just 2 minutes left. Why they didn't line up in the pistol formation is beyond me. I would have given the ball to Gore at least two times then run a play action bootleg option. C'mon guys, five yards to Super Bowl glory? I will give kudos to the Ravens for playing a solid game but they did not beat the Niners at the end. They beat themselves with poor play calling.
No worries, we'll get 'em next year.

My condolences.

Why the Niners decided to pass the ball in the red zone is beyond me. They used their first draft choice to pick up HUGE offensive lineman. Use them. They had a 70% succuss rate in the red zone by running the ball.

Was fun watching. What ever the play the coach decides in the game to determine the outcome depends on the execution of all 11 players. If one fails to do their "job" then the chances for success diminishes. The "armchair quarterbacks" are having a "field day" with their opinions. Have a great day.

Not a fan of professional sports, especially the Super Bowl. Know I could get a lot cat calls from the crowd but here goes, it's like a Roman Gladiator sport where each side is out knock each others brains to oblivion. To prove a point the suicides recently of retired star linemen. Sorry for the post Lance.

... sorry about the outcome Braddah Lance ... I am a Rams fan that was secretly rooting for the Niners to win ...
... it's so easy to second guess what happened ... but if any of the final plays worked there would be no second guessing ...
... even the best of plays don't work all the time ...

I'm a big fan of professional sports, moreso with football and this phenomenal event called the Super Bowl ... I saw inspiring backstories of many of the players and the many contributions of the NFL to society ...
... in a world filled with so much violence and war ...
... what other event can bring so much people together in celebration??? ... if just for a day ...

Sorry, I must have heard you crying all the way over here! I have to say it was an exciting game, not like some of the super bowls!
