Wat Would It Say........

We all seen all kines of stickahs on vehicles and in dis day and age, being subtle certainly ain't a requirement.

Gone are just "bumpah" stickahs but now there are full fledged rear window blocking can't help but read kine stickahs. And if you've evah been on da road, you know wat I mean cause we seen it all from cartoon characters to obscene gestures to cartoon charcters doing obscene gestures.

We seen da "In Loving Memory" kine, da "nationality kine", da slogan kine, da specific club kine, "My keiki is an *honor roll, keiki of the month, etc* at watevah school they going, college kine, NFL kine and who can evah decipher da "wat da heck is dat?" kine.

There are a couple dat I still remembah seeing like, "My Other Car Is A Ferrari" and "If You Follow Too Close, I'll Flick A Booger At You". And I swear there are two cars, one a station wagon, dat instead of a paint job, it's literally coverd bumpah to bumpah wit stickahs!

Wassup Wit Dat!

I got two stickahs on da rear window of my truck, one is da habuteru face from Genki Sushi and da oddah is from Maui Built (da only place wea you can get da stickahs and clothing) stating "RELAX.... This Ain't The Mainland".

You get bumpah or window stickahs on your ride? Have you seen any dat you thought was hilarious? Obscene? No make sense?

Sorry.......not a stickah response yet I once saw a Honda with the license plate "FA Q" and wondered if the DMV even bothers checking what they're allowing.

  2. Ocean Lover:

Apologize if the prior post offended anyone but "true story".

  3. BowlingBuddy:

Don't mess with bumper stickers. Bumpers were issued clean and should stay that way.

  4. GA Bows:

Don't have any on my cars

  5. wafan:

No like. Get ugly afta come fadededed.

  6. Annoddah Dave:

BL: I once had a bumper sticker "Got Any?" and on the other side of the bumper "Want Some?"

  7. 9thIslandGirl:

None on mine. I like the HE>I ones.

  8. CoconutWilly:

    Got the Hawaii Warriors "H"

I saw this license plate once "999999"

Aloha BL and happy Friday! I get da HIC stickah on my truck, a honu stickah on my wife's car but no stickah on my car. Dem bumpah stickahs always puzzle me especially da kines that says "my child is an honor student [at some school]" or da one about "in memory of..." I no mean to offend anyone but I really no kea if your keiki is a honor roll student at some school I neva heard of. I scratch my head wen I see stickahs (or license plate frame) that says "b*tch" or "princess" on dem. Why would you want to advertise both of those undesirable traits? Or how about a license plate that says "Red Vette" on a, you guessed it, red Corvette? Seems lolo to me.

Back in the 1950s, Pepsodent had a popular slogan, "You'll wonder where the yellow went, when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent." And, I saw a Volkswagon Beetle painted yellow with the bumper sticker which read, "NOW YOU KNOW WHERE THE YELLOW WENT!" This made me laugh.

Keep my bumpers sticker free although good fun reading clever ones while stuck in traffic. Once follow convertible in kaneohe had "sue em" plates, was lawyer dave schutter. Get one combat vet license plate. My old plates got damaged a while back and found out veteran plates didn't cost much so why not.

  12. KAN:

My favorite was "Republicans for Voldemort."

I love this song that is composed entirely of words seen on bumper stickers. (The Bobs performed it originally, but I can't find a link to their performance.)

    Howzit BL!

I have a "Faith" stickah and a "Fish Logo" on my reah glass on my truck.
    Happy Guud Friday and FGF!

I once saw a beautiful white Rolls Royce in a mall parking lot. It had a bumper sticker that said "THIS IS MY OTHER CAR". It made me laugh, then I thought if that had been my car I would never put a bumper sticker on it!

  15. roach:

    BL,
I always wonder about people that put bumper stickers on painted surfaces. Older cars had real metal bumpers that would allow you to scrape off the sticker without taking off the paint too. I see a lot of old political stickers that will probably be attached forever.

  16. cojef:

Braddah Lance, like to read em, wouldn't have em, that's me.

  17. DIO:

Yes, I've seen ones that would be considred NSFW. If you really wanna know, BL, send me a message privately via FB. :-)

  18. DIO:

One bumper sticker I saw was attached to the bumper of an offroad vehicle. It was mounted upside down and said, "If you can read this, roll me over."

  19. lowtone123:

The only sticker I have on my vehicle is the University of Hawaii "H" logo. I don't like the "Defend Hawaii" stickers with the assault rifle on it. I once saw a kid (maybe 11 or 12 yo) with a t-shirt with that on it. It made me shake my head to think what parent might have bought a shirt like that for their kid.

  20. CoconutWilly:

    How's this one?
"My Father was inmate of the month!
    at OCCC"

  21. kamaaina808:

    Back of truck:

Kamehameha sticker, 'support our troops' ribbon magnet, and AAA sticker - and maybe going to put 'twin islands' sticker once i wash a spot for it. :-p

    Front windshield:

Small-kine angry bird sticker to cover up one crack in da windshield. Shhhhhh....
