Wat da heck happen to our 'Bows dis week?

Da Wahine lose in 5 to an unranked team we should have beat. Da Rainbow Warrior football team not even close to being remotely in da same category as "average" aftah losing their seventh straight.

Wassup Wit Dat!

I'm hoping for at least a single win before the season is pau and I guess we can now kiss hosting volleyball regionals here aloha.

I'm tired and need a drink... or a nap hoping dat wen I wake up dis has all been a bad dream.

Tough week for UH. Football team had another exciting game. FOR THOSE LOYAL FANS THAT STAYED TILL THE END OF THE GAME.

  2. hossana:

The team never gave up and that to me is more important than winning or losing....I know this is going to sound ridiculous but im looking forward to next year because Chow's first year of recruits will be in place and ready to go and with the offense scoring points now in defeat, im sure next year or even in the remaining games, they will rectify some of their careless errors and put everything together and come out winners...criticize or mock me all you want esp. to all of you naysayers out there but this team has character and once they get over "that hump" so to speak, they will be hard to stop but next year, I see good things happening to this team so please, just be patient and enough with the negative comments e.g. firing the coach etc..etc...it takes time to build a winner esp. out here in Hawaii but give it time and those glory years will return.......cheers.....

  3. Robin:

Volleyball REGIONAL (4-Sweet Sixteen) sites have been preselected for several years now. To be more specific, only the SUBregionals hosting of the 64 team tourney is given to the top 16 seeds:)

  4. Manoa Kahuna:

hossana: If this disastrous season continues Chow's recruits will be playing for another coach.

  5. cojef:

After winning a few games a malaise of tenacity and distraction descends. "Wait till next years", an oft repeated jargon.

  6. tony-man:

The team never gave up - great job Warriors - but everyone knows - Chow gotta go NOW!

  7. Bigislandkurt:

Almost all the players playing now....especially on offense...are Chow's players.

  8. dihudfan:

tuff weekend... hangin' in dahya... still get hope!!! go bows!!!

  9. hossana:

To: Manoa Kahuna: hate to say it but you may be right...oh, well, im still trying to stay positive.....

E Komo Mai back hosanna! Rogah dat.... but sadly, das not how "collegiate" programs are run.

...to all of you naysayers out there but this team has character

In defeat, da only thing you can build is character - you truly will see wat kine of teammates - and fans - you really have.

Sadly, in dis day and age, it's about instant gratification and instant success. The negative comments do suck especially wat and how they are being said but change is only within da individual (fans, coaches & players). I believe Coach Chow has da right mentality but in truth, da "college game" has changed and without da right personnel to fulfill his mold, it's an extreme uphill battle. Look wen he was at USC, da backups in key positions could have started at any oddah school so wen one wasn't performing, anoddah could step right up and not miss a beat. Hawai'i has a history of picking up "hard luck" players and only one player actually surpassed the expectation..... you wanna guess who? Until UH can solidify top notch position players, it'll always be a struggle for us. Should we give up? Heck no! Now DAS just not da "Hawai'i way".

E Komo Mai to WWD! tony-man! Glad you could drop in. I tink Chow should be good for one more year though but if it's da same results, he might be "forced out" but keep in mind, his contract probably says UH still has to pay him but wat's new?

Hmm, if UH looks like a Pop Warner team.... I wouldn't want my kids playing against them. How did they make weight?
