BL: for just eats...go Chinese; otherwise there are places that delight the palate such as Lucky Belly, Pig and the Lady, Brasserie du Vin, Soul de Cubana, Plaza Club, etc. Other standards include Murphy's, JJ Dolman's, etc.

Yanagi on Kapiolani always good. Less classy but good grinds at Cooke Street Diner as well. Great loco moco over there.

All I got for big eaters that's decent would be Chun Wah Kam near Ala Moana. I can barely finish a mini plate and I think the regular plate is less than $10 and includes 2 starches and 2 mains all of which can be split so you can have up to 8 different items. If that doesn't fill you up you can add some Manapua, Pork Hash and Gau Gee as well. It's clean, has plenty of seating and parking.

Otherwise I would go for the Pig and Lady. The food is really good (at least the stuff I've had at the markets) but not exactly huge portions.

If lunch can be really late, Friday is Eat the Street. You can eat til you're full or broke whichever comes first!

Breakfast buffet at Shorebird has great view. Bejing and Ezogiku are OK. I miss Fatty's.
